The first session is easiest to judge right after it ends and hardest to judge while you are still inside it.
That is why a short debrief matters.
What To Check First
Right after the session, ask:
- did the answer actually address the original question
- was the pricing experience clear
- did I feel calmer, clearer, or only more activated
- did the session create pressure to keep paying
These are often stronger signals than whether the reading felt intense.
What To Write Down
Capture:
- what you asked
- what felt useful
- what stayed vague
- whether any upsell or follow-up pressure appeared
- whether the total matched what you expected
This gives you something real to compare against the next session or the next platform.
Why This Helps So Much
Debriefing makes it easier to tell the difference between:
- emotional resonance
- actual clarity
- short-term comfort
- buyer safety
All four can feel similar in the moment.
A Better Beginner Rule
Do not decide whether to rebook while the emotional momentum is still hot.
Review first, then decide whether the session earned another purchase.
