Corrections
Corrections, updates, and retests should be visible.
PsychicScout updates pages when evidence changes, platform flows change, or a reader flags a material issue. Corrections are handled separately from affiliate relationships.
What counts as a correction
A correction is needed when a page contains a factual error, outdated platform detail, unclear evidence boundary, broken disclosure, or missing caveat that could affect a reader's decision before spending money.
- Pricing, intro offer, credit, subscription, or minimum-charge changes.
- Refund, support, app-store, marketplace, or account-deletion flow changes.
- Advisor profile, availability, review-count, or pressure-signal details that no longer match the platform.
- Affiliate disclosure, outbound link, or partner-status details that are incomplete or outdated.
- Draft pages that sound too final before the evidence gate is complete.
How to submit a correction
Use the contact page. Include the page URL, the platform or tool involved, the exact sentence or claim, and a source link, screenshot, receipt, timestamp, or other evidence when relevant.
Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, full private reading transcripts, or urgent medical, legal, financial, or mental health requests.
How updates are handled
Minor wording fixes may be made without changing a verdict. Material changes should update the page's last-updated date, evidence caveat, and any affected price, refund, privacy, support, or affiliate disclosure language.
If a published review loses enough current evidence to support its conclusion, PsychicScout should downgrade the language, add a caveat, or return the page to an evidence-pending state until a retest is complete.
Retest triggers
- A platform changes its intro offer, billing model, refund path, or subscription flow.
- A reader reports a repeatable difference between the page and the live platform.
- A high-intent page starts receiving meaningful search traffic and needs fresher evidence.
- An affiliate approval or rejection changes how outbound links are labeled.
- A comparison depends on review evidence that is no longer current.
Affiliate-independent fixes
Affiliate status does not decide whether a correction is accepted. A partner platform can receive a negative update, and a non-partner platform can receive a positive factual fix when the evidence supports it.
